Kenneth Emerson Hege, 73, Bella Vista, Arkansas, died Friday, March 17, 1989 at Bates Memorial Hospital iin Bentonville. He was born February 17, 1916 at Greensburg, Kansas to John Daniel Hege and Nellie Lenora Viersen Hege. He was a retired special agent for the Rain and Hail Crop Insurance Company and a World War II veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the Bella Vista United Luturean Church, the Bella Vista United Lutheran Church Men's Brotherhood, the American Legion, the AARP,
, Masonis Lodge No. 12 in Emporia, Kansas, Scottish Rite and Arab Shrine Tample in Topeka, Kansas and the Nomad Shrine Club in Bella Vista. He moved to Bella Vista from Emporia, Kansas, severn years ago.
Survivors: wife, Edith of the home; son, Darryl Hege of Wichita; stepson, Harlan Christensen, Des Moines,Iowa; stepdaughter, Jeanette Black, Quincy, Illinois; brother, Harold Hege, Sedgwick, Kansas, two sisters, Lois Griffith, Wichita, Kansas and Ruby Blankenship, Fresno, California; 3 grandchildren; six step grandchildres; two great grandchildren; eight tep-great grandchildren.
Memorial service is set for Wednesday at Bella Vista United Lutheran Church; Interment was in Bella Vista, Memorial Gardens. Cremation and services are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Bentonville.
