Minnie M. Hege, 83, Peabody, died Monday, January 2. 1995 at Newton Medical Center. She was born August 10. 1911 in Ottawa County, she was the daughter of Alexandere J. and Ethel M. Sheets. A Peabody resident, formerly of Newton, she was a homemaker. She was a member of Foursquare Church and the Ladies Auxiliary of he Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Newton.
On April 17., 1931 she married Charles R. Hege at Sedgwick. He died July 21, 1978.
Survivors: two sons, Richard E. Hege, Newton and Donald G. Hege, Peabody; six daughters; Mary A. Zimmer, Kissimmee, Florida; Deloris F. Sexauer, De Soto Texas', Charlene M. Riedlinger, Dodge City; Ruth a Cole, Cochise, Arkzona; and Linda D. Bemiss, Newton; brother Donald E. Giersch, Dodge City; 18 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and four grreat-gret-grandchildren.
Funeral was Thursday, January 5 at Foursquare Church, Newton with the Rev. Larry Thompsonn Presiding; Burial was in the Halstead Cemetery. A memorial has been established with Northview Development Sevices iin care of Broadway Colonial Funeral Home, Newton.
