Obituary

Terry E. Gaul died on Friday, Oct. 31, in Sedgwick.  Terry fought a long battle with cancer. In his final week, he was admitted to a nursing home in Sedgwick for additional care.

He was born on July 30, 1950, in Spearville to Leslie and Mary (Shean) Gaul.  Terry attended Sedgwick High School and was part of the class of 1968. Terry served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.  He was the past owner/operator of Kater Supply.  He enjoyed time camping and fishing with his brother Timothy and his children. He was a member of the American Legion Post 268.

He is survived by sister: Peggy and Larry Hanes; brothers: Tim and Tom Gaul; son: Travis Wayne Gaul; and two granddaughters.  He was preceded in death by his father and mother; sister: Connie Warhurst; and grandparents: Everett and Mildred Gaul and Peter and Harriett Shean.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014, at Hillside Cemetery in rural Sedgwick. A memorial has been set up for the American Legion of Sedgwick.
