Obituary

Otha H. Snyder, 81, died July 15, 1989, at the Presbyterian Manor, Newton.

Born Otha H. Lantis September 12, 1907, at Newton, she married John R. Snyder.  He died June 11, 1960.  A homemaker, she was a lifetime Newton resident.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newton.

Survivors:  sons, Thomas Doan, Wichita, Gerald Doan, Palatka, Fla.: eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel, Newton, the Rev. Alden Dick.  Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton.  Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and until service time Monday at the funeral home.
