Obituary

Jill A. Thiessen, 64, Hesston, passed away Friday, November 7, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.

She was born June 25, 1950 in McPherson, KS to Ralph and Glennis Lee (Haydon) Howard.  She was united in marriage on May 31, 1970 to Edwin Thiessen in Inman, KS.  Jill was a graduate of Sidneys Hairdressing School in Hutchinson; and Hesston College where she received her Associate of Arts in Nursing degree. Jill worked as a hairdresser, a homemaker and registered nurse at Schowalter Villa for many years.  Jill was also a member of the Hesston United Methodist Church.
 
Left to cherish Jill's memory is her mother; Glennis Lee of Inman, KS husband; Ed of the home; daughters; Jennifer (Scott) Motes of Halstead, KS and Melissa (Steve) Kuder of Concordia, KS, brother; Terry (Linda) Howard of Nixa, MO and 6 grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her father; Ralph, and daughter; Stephanie Thiessen.
 
There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m.on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Hesston United Methodist Church with Pastor Brad Penner and Pastor Keith Schadel officiating.  A private family burial in planned.    Memorials are suggested to Hesston United Methodist Church and may be sent in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, 107 S.
