Harvey Holzrichter, 97, farmer and stockman, died Sunday November 23 at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. He was born November 27, 1916 at rural Burrton to Joohn H. and Sara F. Friesen Holzrichter. He was a member of Burrton Mennonite Church and was a bus driver for Moundridge schools for 13 years.
He served in the U. S. Army duriing WWII.
On May 12, 1950 he married Bertha Helen Kliewer at Henderson, Nebraska. She preceded him in death March 24, 2013.
Survivors: dughters; Carol (Carl) Dilts-Jones, Sedgwick; Linda (John Redinger) Critchfield, Burrton; Ellen (Robert) Goering, Cimmaron; brother, Elmer (Margaret) Holzrichter, Kearney, Nebraska; sister Doris Edwards, Perry, Oklahoma; grandchildren and 8 grreat grandchildrn.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Irl and sisters, Esther Hook, Minnie Regehr and Alvina Enns.
Services were held at Burrton Mennonite Church November 28 with Rev. Jim Dunn officiating. Burial was in Burrton Cemetery.
