Obituary

Oma Anna Wiggers, 75, retired nanny and housekeeper, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014, at her residence in Halstead, Kansas.

She was born Oct. 27, 1939, at Newton, the daughter of Wayne Willard and Eula Letty (Unruh) Wiggers. She was a member of Meridian Mennonite Church, Hesston.

Survivors include brothers: Orlin (Betty Rose) Wiggers, Halstead, Eldo (Roberta) Wiggers, Moundridge; sisters: Trudie and Nancy Wiggers, Halstead; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:30 to 8 p.m., on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 2014, at Meridian Mennonite Church, with Ministers Franklin Wenger, Shawn Diesel and Dani Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Meridan Mennonite Church Cemetery.  Memorials may be given to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice or Meadowlark School, in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
