Keren H. Woolsey Battles, 54, retired Larksfield Place Resource Learning Center Specialist, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2014. She was born in Seward, Oklahoma to Robert Jerome Woolsey and Vivian Maude Barthloma Woolsey. On July 12, 1957 in Stillwater, Oklahoma she married the love of her life, Sam E. Battles, who survives her.
Surviving children: Susan (William) Vosburg of Cheney; Sandy (Darrel) Blunck of Wichita; Sherri (Richard) Buhrer, Wichita and Trish (Brian) Dupuu of Augusta. 11 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Katherine and brothers, Wayne and Jay all of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her son, Tommy Battles, granddaughter, Sonja Blunck, parents Robert and Vivian Woolsen, brothers, Carl, Bill, Robert and sisters Ruth, June and Elmary.
Graveside was Tuesday, November 25 at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick. Baker Funeral Home Valley Centeer was iin charge.
