Obituary

   Margaret "Kay" McGinn Stanley passed away Sunday November 23 2014 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born to John and Marguerite McGinn on Febvruary 15, 1917 just west of Sedgwick, Kansas at the family farm house. 

   Growing up Kay learned to be frugal which is something that served her well for her entire life.  During the depression her family was able to trade ration coupons and they were never without something they needed. On July     6, 1947 she married Lynn Stanley at Sedgwick.  To this union, 3 children were born:  Survivors: sons; Jerry and Wife, Stella; Stanley and and partner Virdell Shay and daughter Rita and Husband Danny Grindsaff;  sister Betty Hanna; 5 grandchildren and a great grandchild and 2 geat-great grandchid.

   Services will be November 18 at Petersen Funeral Home.  Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Newton.
