Franklin C. Dirks, 58, owner/operator of Norrhridge Sand, died Friday November 21, 20114 at Newtoon Medical Center. He was born December 25, 1955 at Newton to Wilbert Carl and Claribel (Wiggers) Dirks.
He was a member of Sedgwick Mennonite Church and was Moundridge Manor Board Chairman. On October 15, 1978 he maried Burnette Unruh at Abbotsford, Brtitish Columbia. She survives of the home.
Othter survivors: sons: Byron (Beth) Dirks, Halstead; Darren (Gina) Dirks, Sedgwick; daughters, Denise (Arnie) Zimmerman, Lime Sprinngs, Iowa; Carrie (Ryan) Koehn, Middletonn Michigan; Christiana Dirks of the home; Brother; Raymond (Charlene) Dirks, Leoti; sisters; Margaret (John) Schmidt, Sedgwick; Verna (Phillip) Schroeder, Transylvania, La. and 10 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Wilferd.
Funeral services are Wednesday, November 26 at Grace Mennonite Curch, Halstead with Ministers Dean Becker and Conrad Seiler presiding.
Burial will follow at Halstead Cemetery.
