Mrs. A. E. Nichols died at the age of 73 in Oklahoma at the home of her daughter. She was born in Ohio in 1841. She married Colonel C. C. Nichols in 1859 and moved to Kansas in 1861.
Survivors: children; W. E. Nichols; Mrs. Laura Rowland; Mrs. S. B. Preston; Elnora R. Nichols (deceased); Mrs. Ada Brabets and Maude Nichols, also one brother and oone sister.
Funeral was in Sedgwickk Methodist Church with burial in Hillside Cemetery at Sedgwick.
