Arnold J. Janzen, 92, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2002, at Memorial Home in Moundridge.
He was born April 18, 1910, to Peter H. and Marie (Eitzen) Janzen in Syracuse. He married Martha Dick April 15, 1934, in Turpin, Okla. She died Sept. 26, 2002. He was a resident of Moundridge for 15 years, having moved from Turpin.
He was a farmer and former employee of Liberal Standard Supply. He was a member of First Mennonite Church of Christian in Moundridge.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Janzen and wife, Mary, North Newton; two daughters, Wilma Loganbill and husband, Earl, Hesston, and Nola Stucky and husband, Jim, North Newton; one sister, Dorothy Sangals, Clearwater; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Erwin Janzen; one sister, Edna Bartel; and one grandson, David Toews.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Mennonite Church Cemetery in rural Moundridge. Memorial services will follow at 2 p.m. at First Mennonite Church of Christian in Moundridge with the Pastor Gordon Allaby presiding. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Moundridge Funeral Home with family present from 6-8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to First Mennonite Church or Memorial Home in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, 115 E.
