Randall L. Harr 57, died Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
He was born April 10, 1957 in Newton, Kansas to Charles R and Della Mae (Pletcher) Harr. On December 30, 1995 he married Billie L. Stroup at the First Baptist Church Newton. Randall was a graduate of Newton High School and attended Newton Christian Church. He formerly worked at Hehr International in Newton. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting and fishing when his health permitted. He was an accomplished wood worker and was a former member of the Goldwing Riders motorcycle club. Randall enjoyed spending time with his loving family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife, Billie, of the home; brothers Richard and Charlene Harr of Newton, KS, Bruce and Daina Harr of Newton, KS, Ron Harr of Noel, MO, & Brian and Julie Harr of Greenville, NC. He is also survived by many friends and other relatives. Randall is preceded in death by his father Charles, Nephews Ryan Harr and Jesse Stroup, and Grandparents Richard and Margaret Harr.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Petersen Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at Petersen Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Doug Ingmire presiding. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Newton, Kansas. Memorials are suggested to Kansas Kairos Outside, 6903 University Blvd, Winter Park, FL 32792, or in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
