E. Maxine Easter, 81, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family, February 6, 2015, at Mennonite Friendship Community, South Hutchinson, Kansas.
The daughter of Alfred and Elma Daniel, she was born September 17, 1933, in South Coffeyville, Oklahoma. She was a retired textile worker for Hutchinson Bag Corporation. She loved spending time camping and taking in nature, however, taking care of her family was her priority. On January 14, 1951, she married Robert (Bob) A. Easter in Hutchinson, Kansas.
He preceded her in death January 18, 2006.
Survivors include: four daughters, Debra Riead (John), Hutchinson, Benjy Easter, Burrton, Jody Rivers (Gary) Burrton, and Lynelle Fernandez (Jorge), Burrton; a son, James (Kathleen), Texas Creek, Colorado; three brothers Bud, Sonny, and Jack Daniel; two sisters, Leona Dauber, and Marie Russell; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, two sisters, a brother, and six grandchildren.
Celebration of life will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2015, at the First Church of God, 7th and Jefferson, Hutchinson, Kansas. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015, at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main, Hutchinson. Burial will be in Burrton Cemetery, Burrton, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Rivercross Hospice, in care of the funeral home. Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of service arrangements.
