CEDAREDGE, Colo. -- Russell M. Maine,
94, died Sept. 29, 2002, at Horizon's Care Center in Eckert, Colo. He
was born Sept. 22, 1908, to Perry A. and Minnie (Wilson) Maine in
Kingman County. They preceded him in death. He married Margaret
Elizabeth Molzen May 14, 1936. She survives. He lived in Shenandoah,
Iowa, as a child and attended schools in Newton. He was a member of
the United Methodist Church in Cedaredge, Colo. He was a life member
of the Carpenters Union and a past member of Redlands Mesa Grange. He enjoyed building furniture.
Other survivors include: a son, Merrell Maine of Louisville, Colo.; a daughter, Nedra K. Eastom of Westminster; Colo,; four granddaughters; eight great-grandchildren; three nieces; and three nephews.
He was aso preceded in death by three sisters, Gwendlyn Travis, Margaret Barr and Marian Ervin.
Funeral service was Friday at Community United Methodist Church in Cederedge. Burial was in Cedaredge Cemetery.
