Beverly S. Weaver (1966 - 2015)
Obituary
Beverly S. Weaver beloved wife, mother,
daughter, and sister passed away peacefully on April 23, 2015 in
Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Colorado Springs,
Colorado, January 6, 1966. She was the second of five children born
to Robert and Bonnie Guy.
Beverly graduated from Falcon High
school in 1984, Hesston College in 1986 and married Rodger Weaver in
1987. She worked for Compassion International prior to their move to
Hesston, Kansas in 1989. There she operated a home daycare for 18
years and was a member of Whitestone Mennonite Church.
God blessed Bev with a strong spirit.
Her continued faith in God's unconditional love, and her perseverance
against the disease which finally took her life, became an
inspiration for many people.
She leaves behind her husband Rodger
and daughter Lauren both of Colorado Springs. Brothers Lee of Elbert,
Colorado; Jeffery (Claudia) of Maysville, Colorado; David of Elbert,
Colorado; sister Kim O'Connor (Patrick) and nieces Ashley and Rachel
of Elbert, Colorado.
A celebration of life is scheduled for
Wednesday April 29, 2015, at 11:30 a.m. at Beth-El Mennonite Church,
4625 Ranch Dr, Colorado Springs. A second service is scheduled for
May 2, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Whitestone Mennonite Church, 629
Crescent Drive, Hesston, Kansas.
