Obituary

Dolores E. Yoder, 81, of Hesston, passed away peacefully Saturday (April 18, 2015). A caring and devoted mother, former registered nurse and elementary school teacher, she had many gifts and talents.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Dr. Vernon Yoder, and together adopted five children: Cindy, Jim, Kent, Susan and Sharon, who survive.

Her parents, Virgil and Leona Langshaw of Nevada, Missouri and brother Dale preceded her in death. She has many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other extended family who survive.

A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, May 8 at Whitestone Mennonite Church, Hesston.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Caring Hands Humane Society, Newton, in care of Miller-Ott Funeral Home, 107 S. Lancaster Ave, Hesston KS 67062
