Obituary
Robert R. "Bob" Hulsey, 64,
of McPherson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 2, 2015,
surrounded by family at The Cedars, McPherson. He was a retired
welder.
Bob was born on September 1, 1950, in
Newton, KS, the son of Strozier Albin and Lavina May (Dillon) Hulsey.
He graduated from McPherson High School in 1969. On November 1, 1976,
Bob was united in marriage to Debra Ann "Debbie" Bonham in
Wichita, KS.
Survivors include: wife, Debbie Hulsey
of the home; three children, Camilla Kramer and husband, Kirk, of
McPherson, KS, Ed Whitfield and wife, Christina, of McPherson, KS,
and Chris Hulsey of McPherson, KS; two brothers, James Hulsey and
wife, Penny, of Howard, KS, and Tommy Hulsey and wife, Pam, of
McPherson, KS; brother-in-law, Perry Taylor of Augusta, KS; four
grandchildren, Dylan Kramer, Alyssa Kramer, Spencer Whitfield, and
Rylie Whitfield; eight nieces & nephews; and 16 great-nieces &
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents
and sister, Janice Holbert.
The funeral service will be held at
10:30 AM, Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Countryside Covenant Church
with Rev. Jon Black officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM
to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, April 7, at Stockham Family Funeral Home with
the family receiving friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Inurnment will
be held at Crestwood Memorial Park at a later date.
The family suggests memorial donations
be given to Countryside Covenant Church or McPherson County Community
Foundation (for medical travel expenses) in care of Stockham Family
Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460. Personal
