Fernan C. Loganbill
Obituary
Fernan C. Loganbill, 93, a business
owner formerly from North Newton, died on March 2, 2015, at Hilltop
Manor in Cunningham.
He was born on Aug. 4, 1921, in Newton
to Jesse and Evangeline (Becker) Loganbill.
He married Elaine (Houseworth)
Loganbill July 11, 1943, in Lima, Ohio. She survives. He was a member
of Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton. He was a World
War II Air Force veteran. He loved collecting antique car parts and
loved to attend classic car shows.
He is survived by children, Judy
Loganbill of Wichita and Michael (Denise) Loganbill of Pratt. His
brothers and sisters are Denard (Marguerite) Loganbill, Varden (Lu)
Loganbill and Lanoy (Mary Esther) Loganbill. Grandchildren are Amy
and Angela Loganbill of Wichita.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m.
March 16 at Bethel College Mennonite Church, with minister Heidi
Reigier-Kreider. Cremation has taken place; visitation with family
will follow the service. Remains will be placed at the Bethel College
Mennonite Church Columbarium.
Memorials may be designated to Bluffton
College of Bluffton, Ohio; Bethel College Mennonite Church of North
Newton; and Lorraine Avenue Mennonite Church of Wichita, in care of
the mortuary.
