James Lee Hosie, 53, died Monday (March
9, 2015) at his home in Newton.
He was born on March 23, 1961 in
Abilene, Kansas, the son of Robert and Joyce Provance Hosie. He was
raised south of Abilene and graduated from Chapman High School. He
later attended the vo-tech school in Salina. James owned and operated
a body shop in Enterprise for several years. He loved painting
automobiles and enjoyed taking his 1970 Mustang to several car shows
through the years. James was also an animal lover.
Survivors include his daughter Jamie
Tanner and her husband Lee; parents Robert and Joyce Hosie; brother
Tim Hosie all of Abilene; sister Cindy Middleton and her husband
Richard of Carlton, Kansas.; four grandchildren; and two great
grandchildren. Cremation has been effected. Private family inurnment
services will be held at the Newbern Cemetery, South of Abilene.
