Obituary
NORTH NEWTON: Delia "Dee"
Farminer, 73, died March 26, 2015 at her home in North Newton,
Kansas. She was born March 13, 1942 at Southampton, England to Thomas
and Gwendoline (Hooker) Eldridge.
She married Eric Farminer, August 19,
1961 at Southampton, England. He died March 25, 1996. She worked for
Elder Care as a Caregiver
Mrs. Farminer was a Great Bend, Kansas
resident since 1965 coming from Southampton, England, living recently
in North Newton to be close to family. She was a member of First
United Methodist Church, Great Bend.
Surviors include: two sons - Wayne
Farminer of McPherson, KS, and Scott Farminer and his wife Courtney
of Tulsa, OK; one daughter - Tracy Kerr and her husband Heath of
North Newton, KS;
five grandchildren: Haleigh Kerr,
Hunter Kerr, Eric Farminer, Derek Farminer and Logan Farminer
She was preceded in death by three
brothers, Den Eldridge, Alan Eldridge and Mike Eldridge, and four
sisters, Lena McAfee, Letta Bassett, Mauriel Moger, and Jean
Williams.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9
p.m.Monday, March 30, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home with the family
present.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m.
Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Great
Bend. The Reverend Lennie Maxwell will officiate. Interment will be
at the Great Bend Cemetery in Great Bend, Kansas.
Memorial funds can be made to First
United Methodist Church or Harry Hynes Hospice in care of Bryant
Funeral Home.
