Obituary
WHITEWATER - Tallman, Nancy L., 80,
passed away June 1, 2015, at her residence surrounded by her family.
She was born April 11, 1935, at Newton, the daughter of Orlan and
Blanche (Root) Edwards.
She was a graduate of Whitewater High
School, then continued her education becoming a registered nurse. On
February 23, 1965, she was united in marriage to Roger D. Tallman.
Their marriage was blessed with a son, Charles. She was a member of
Furley United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and
Wheat State Manor Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her
parents and a brother, John Edwards.
She is lovingly survived by her
husband, Roger of Whitewater; her son, Charles and his wife Marci of
Newton; her 2 grandchildren: Ryan Tallman of Newton; and Elizabeth
Herbel and her husband Derrick of Whitewater; and 2
great-grandchildren: Wesley and Bryanna.
Visitation with family will be held
from 6 – 8 p.m., today (Wednesday), at Lamb Funeral Home,
Whitewater. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on
Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Furley United Methodist Church. Interment
will follow in the Whitewater Cemetery.
A Memorial Fund has been established
for the Furley United Methodist Church Building Fund, in care of Lamb
Funeral Home, 120 S Main, Whitewater, KS, 67154.
