Leland Duane Bender, less than 2 years old, son of Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Bender died. He had been ill,but suddenlyy contracted an ailment of the brain and died suddenly. Funerat was as the home just north of Halstead. Burial was in Hillside Cenetery at Halstead, Kansas.
