Harold E. Grandon, 85, passed away May 6, 2015 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover. He was born Feb. 12, 1930 in Burrton to Claude Wesley and Sarah Inez (Hale) Grandon. He graduated from Haven high school in 1948 and was drafted into the Army in January of 1952 and stationed in Missouri, California and Austria. He was a carpenteer and oil field pumper for Homestake. He was a member of the Burrton United Methodist Church and lived in Burrton hisentire life.
On Octobeer 28, 1952 he married Reta Fern Edwards in Burrton. She passed away August 23, 201 0.
Survivors: son , Edward (Nonie) Wichita; daughters; Jewell (George) of Burton; Janet Blank, Burrton and Sandra (Mark) Hinkle, Colwich; 14 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren; sister Ruby Revak and brothers, Paul and LeeRoy Grandon.
Services were May 11 in Burton Cemetery.
