Obituary

   Phillander Moots, age 81, was born in Ohio in 1834.  He left Ohio and  traveled by horseback to Illinois near Bloomington.  He maried Prisilla Frank in 1859.  13 children, five died in infancy.  The parents with 8 remaining children moved to Kansas in the spring of 1882 on the SE 1/4 of Sedgwick 7, Macon .

  Survivors:  are Charles, Mrs. Emma Milleer, Mrs. Ora Grove, Otis, Ks., John \, Albert and Frank, 17 grandchildren.
