Burney Willard Legan, 84, retired Graves Truckline driver, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. He was born iin Clearwater, where he resided until the 1940's. His family then moved to Wichita until the 1970's and moved to the Valley Center area.
Burney entered into the U.S. Army of Feb 1, 1952 and was a Korean War Veteran. He worked at Mid Central Fish until 1965, then Graves Truckline a truck driver and dock worker until he retired in 1988. He then worked for Grattan Farms. He is survived by friends Bill and Judy Grattan and Milton Quiring. He is preceded iin death his mother and stepdad, Marie Z. (Roberts) Martin and Don N. Martin; brotheer, Wesley Dean Roberts, grandparents, William J. and Mary J. Roberts.
Private services were held March 5, 2015 at Hillside Cemetery in Sedgwick.
