Obituary
HALSTEAD - Dean W. Krehbiel, 85,
retired Legg Co. shipping and receiving foreman, died Friday (Nov.
15, 2013) at Halstead Health and Rehabilitation, Halstead.
He was born Aug 23, 1928 at Elyria to
Daniel Martin and Ella Ruth (Stucky) Krehbiel.
He was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church, Halstead, and served in the U.S. Air Force during
the Korean War.
On September 5, 1955 he married
Angelina L. "Angie" Anaya at Halstead, she survives at
Halstead.
Other survivors include sons: Steve
(Roberta) Krehbiel, Wichita, Bill (Georgia) Krehbiel, Athens, Ga.;
Greg Krehbiel, Halstead; daughters: Sandy (Matt) McKee, Halstead; Pat
(Lonnie) Lollar, Derby; Lisa (Lance) Galbraith, Andale; brother:
Kenneth Krehbiel, Norman, Okla.; sister: June (David) Hilton, Olathe;
24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Monday
(Nov. 18, 2013) and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Halstead.
The Mass of the Christian burial will
be 10 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 19, 2013) at Sacred Heart Catholic Church
with Father Edmond Kline officiating.
Interment will follow at Halstead
Cemetery, Halstead.
Memorials may be given to the church or
Harden Hospice in care of Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead.
