Sarah A. Sharp, died at the hme of her dauhter, Mrs. W. H. (Agnes) Whetsel at Halstead. She was born in Onio in 1835 amd married William Sharp at Claairsille, Ohio in 1854. She came to Garden Township with heer family of young chidren in the spriing of 1872 and homesteaaded, later lived near Medford, Oklahoma. Eight children were born to this couple, five still living:R obert, Samuel, William and Mrs. Ad Ballard.
Funeral was at the home. Burial was in the city cemetery.
