Donald A. Peek

Donald A. Peek-88- Passed away November 9, 2015 at his home at Schowalter Villa Hesston, Kansas. He was born July 15, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas the son of William and Rura (Waits) Peek. He grew up in South Haven. Donald served in the United States Army and worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a switchman. He enjoyed traveling with his wife in there motor home and was an avid golfer. He also enjoyed their four legged friend Punkin. On June 23, 1962 he married JoAnna Crouch in Ft. Smith, Arkansas she survives. Don and JoAnna made their home in Bethany, Oklahoma. Donald is preceded in death by his parents two brothers Charles and Manco Peek and a sister Marie Parnell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 1-5pm at Petersen Funeral Home Newton, Ks. The Funeral service will be held 10:00AM Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston, KS. Burial will follow at 1:00PM at Rose Hill Cemetery South Haven, KS. A memorial has been established with the Schowalter Good Samaritan Fund in care of Schowalter Villa Hesston, KS.
