Obituary

Sara Ernestine (Vickery) Taylor, 85, died Tuesday (Nov. 10, 2015) in Walton. She was born April 30, 1930, in Atlanta, to Alan and Alice (Stamp) Vickery.

Taylor worked in sales and as a cook. On Jan. 9, 1948, in Atlanta, she married Harold D. Taylor, who preceded her in death. Also preceding are her parents, Alan and Alice Vickery; and five siblings.

Survivors include a son, Timothy Taylor; eight daughters: Pam Hassenplug, Alice Foshag, Peggy Taylor, Amy Davis, Beth Bernard, Carol McClain, Donna Pankratz and Renee Shuman; 15 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 14, 2015) at Newton Kingdom Hall, 223 SE 14th St., with Pastor Joe Magathon officiating. Interment will be in Vernon, Florida.
