Obituary
BEL AIRE - Emily Kate Goebel, 13,
passed away November 14, 2015, at Wesley Medical Center. She was born
April 26, 2002, at Newton, Kansas. She is second born child of James
and Lori (Claassen) Goebel. She liked music, and her family loved her
smile. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Annie
Goebel. She is lovingly survived by her parents, James and Lori; her
siblings: Thomas, 15; Jeremiah, 11; Lucy, 9; Paige, 5; and Maggie, 3
months; her maternal grandparents, Ralph and Debora Claassen; and
paternal grandfather, Frank Goebel. A visitation with family was held
from 5 - 7 p.m., Monday evening at Lamb Funeral Home, Whitewater. A
committal service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the Haldeman
Cemetery, rural Potwin. The funeral service will be held at 6:30
p.m., Tuesday evening at the Emmaus Mennonite Church, Whitewater. A
memorial fund has been established for His Safe Haven in care of Lamb
