Obituary
Rex C. Graham, 85, died Thursday,
November 26, 2015 at Newton Presbyterian Manor. He was born October
6, 1930 in Newton, Kansas to Earl and Clara (Windsor) Graham. On
February 17, 1952 he married Marjorie Buell at Peabody, Kansas and
she survived of the home. Rex served his country in the United States
Airforce during the Korean Era. He retired from the Newton Kansan as
a pressman. He also owned and operated a print shop in Peabody,
Kansas and Graham LP Gas company. Rex was active Mason for nearly 63
years as members of both the Newton Lodge #142 where he has served as
Past Master and the Halcyon Lodge in Peabody. He was also a member of
the Shrine Club. Rex enjoyed bowling, golfing and sports. He
especially liked to follow the Kansas City Royals and KU and WSU
teams. He was a loving husband and father and greatly looked forward
to spending time with his loving family and many friends.
He is survived by his wife Marjorie of
the home; son Neil Graham of Marshfield, MO; daughter Cheryl
Wallweber of Wichita, Kansas; brother Galen Graham of Overland Park,
Kansas; sister Marilyn Rouse of Kansas City, MO and granddaughter
Emily Graham of Hutchinson, Kansas.
Rex is preceded in death by his parents
and Infant daughter Lorilyn Graham
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m.
Monday, November 30, 2015 at Trinity Heights United Methodist Church
with Pastor Donna Voteau presiding. There will be a gathering with
refreshments following the service at the church.
Memorials are suggested to the Kansas
Honor Flight or the Shriners Plane of Mercy in care of Petersen
Funeral Home.
