Obituary

Earl E. Neufeld, 85, passed away October 17, 2015, at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. He was born February 12, 1930, in rural Hesston, KS the son of John E. and Esther F. (Vogt) Neufeld. Earl was a U.S. Army Veteran. He had worked as a Farmer and an Industrial Engineer and retired from Hay and Forage in the mid-1990s. He was a member of the West Zion Mennonite Church, Moundridge. On January 8, 1955 he married Frances L. Stalnaker in Columbia, SC. His survivors include his wife, Frances L. Neufeld of Moundridge; and 2 sisters, Dorothy M. Krehbiel of Moundridge, and Mary Ann Waltner of Moundridge. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Wilbur and Donald. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m., with the family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Moundridge Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at West Zion Mennonite Church, Moundridge, with Pastor Brad Roth officiating. Inurnment service will be at a later date in West Zion Cemetery, Moundridge. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Fund in care of Moundridge Funeral Home, Moundridge.
