Rex A. Fleetwood, 64, of Mechanicsburg, Pa died Sunday, September 27, 2015, at Holy Spirit Hospital, E. Pennsboro Twp.

He was born August 17, 1951, in Newton, Ks to the late Milburn W. and Edna M. (Hughes) Fleetwood. He was preceded in death by his brother, Howard D. Fleetwood.

He is survived by his wife, Donna K. Fleetwood; sister, Ann J. Fleetwood Cuevas of Polo, Mo; nephews and nieces, Aaron and Kelly Powell, Mark, Karen, Jeret and Michael Fleetwood; and several great nieces and nephews.

Rex was VP of IT at AIG in NY, Cigna in Philadelphia, and Penn National Insurance before working as an executive consultant at Donegal Mutual Insurance for many years. He is the owner and founder of NJRX, an IT consulting firm.

Rex was well known for his generosity and compassion, one of many examples being delivering pizzas to the homeless at Bethesda Mission. Rex never met a cat he didn't like, and to him no one was a stranger. He will be missed by the many people he touched along the way.

Rex loved to travel, especially his excursions with the Pyramid Ski Club, and his frequent visits to his second home in Santa Fe.

Rex and his wife Donna were married June 3, 1972, in Newton, Ks. and enjoyed a long and happy marriage.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 30, at 5 PM at Parthemore Funeral Home, New Cumberland, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 PM. A celebration of Rex's life will follow.

A second service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 4th, at Kaufman Funeral Home, Halstead, KS. Burial will follow in Halstead Cemetery.
