Kurt A. Harder
HESSTON - Kurt A. Harder, 49, died
Tuesday (Dec. 4, 2007) at his residence in Hesston.
He was born on Oct. 27, 1958, in
Moundridge, to Willis and Dorothy (Regier) Harder. They survive of
North Newton.
He married Dorothy Stucky on May 29,
1983, in Moundridge. She survives of Hesston.
He taught American history at Hesston
High School. He also was a farmer. He was a member of Bethel College
Mennonite Church in North Newton.
Other survivors include a son, Benjamin
Harder of North Newton, who is a Bethel College student; a daughter,
Emily Harder of the home; a brother, David Harder (and Michele Horn)
of Denver; and a sister, Lynn and Steve Schmidt of Hutchinson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
Friday at Bethel College Mennonite Church.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m.
Saturday at the church, with Pastor Heidi Regier-Kreider and Pastor
Ruth Harder officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
