Survivors: wife, Louise; sons, Darryl of Waterloo, Ontario, Larry of Newton, Terry of Wichita; daughter, Cheryl Sauerwein of Newton; brothers, Edwin, Walter, Curt all of Newton, Abe of Hutchinson, Adolf of Enid, Okla., Elmer of Wichita; sister, Lydia Flaming of Newton; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Memorials established with Caring Fund of the First Mennonite Church and Newton Fire Department Radio Communication Unit.
