Helen M. Hershberger
HESSTON -- Helen M. Hershberger, 73,
homemaker and baker, died Friday (Oct. 3, 2003) at Schowalter Villa
in Hesston. She was born Jan. 28, 1930, to John M. and Margaret
(Schroeder) Janzen in Newton. She married Vilas Hershberger Sept. 22,
1949, in Hesston. He survives of Hesston. She was a member of Hesston
Inter-Mennonite Fellowship. She was a lifelong Hesston area resident
with the exception of several years spent in North Dakota after her
marriage. She was employed at Hesston College and Cross Wind
Conference Center.
Other survivors include: three sons,
Dwight Lee Hershberger of Nashville, Tenn., Dennis Ray Hershberger of
Hutchinson and Dean Edward Hershberger of Hesston; two daughters,
Jane Ilene Litwiller of rural Hesston and Joan Irene Wiggers of
Dallas; two brothers, Samuel Janzen of Harrisonberg, Va., and Archie
Janzen of Boise, Idaho; and a sister, Amy Hershberger of Hesston; 18
grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Today
with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p. m. at Miller Funeral Home
in Hesston.
Funeral service will be 10 a. m.
Tuesday at Hesston Inter-Mennonite fellowship with the Revs. Scott
Miller and Ray French officiating.
Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.

the Lifeline Orphanage of Haiti and Kitchen Equipment at the Hesston
