John Stahl, 82, died on July 15, 2015
at Via Christi-St. Francis in Wichita, Kansas.
John was born on June 21, 1933 in
Newton, Kansas to Ed and Freda (Beck) Stahl.
He married Florence Martin on October
2, 1958. She preceded him in death on February 22, 2014.
John worked at Boeing aircraft for 25
plus years along with farming. John retired 25 years ago and has
spent his time traveling and enjoying his family who he loved very
much.
He is survived by four sons: Timothy;
Daniel and wife, Cindy; Robert and Jenifer and William Stahl; ten
grandchildren: Ashton and Damian Kitchens of Oklahoma , Darcy and
Katlyn of Wichita, Jamie of Newton, Jenessa and Jim Boldenow, Braxton
and Blazee all of Newton, Megan and Brett Runge of Pittsburg, Kansas,
Clint and Molly of Newton; one great grandson Waylon Boldenow.
He was preceded in death by his wife:
Florence "Flo" Stahl and his parents.
Funeral services will be held 10:00am
Monday, July 20, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Newton with The Rev
Aaron Filipek presiding. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 19,
2015 from 1:00 to 5:00 P.M with family present from 3:00 to 5:00 at
Petersen Funeral Home. Burial military honors will follow the service
at Greenwood Cemetery.
A memorial has been set up for Zion
Lutheran Church, 225 S. Poplar St., Newton, Kansas.
