Obituary
HESSTON– Lois Frey, 83, passed away
Tuesday (Dec. 15, 2015) at her home in Hesston.
She was born May 18, 1932 in
Whitewater, the daughter of Peter and Kaete (Regier) Thiessen.
She worked as an partner with Ken at
Frey's Jewelers/Frey's Watch Repair until the closing of the
business. She was attending Central Christian Church, Wichita.
On April 4, 1952 she married Kenneth L.
Frey in Whitewater. Lois is survived by her husband, Kenneth; her
children, Stephanie (Delbert) Flaming of Wichita, Vickie (Lynel)
Unrau of Goessel, Joyce (Roger) Vasconcells of Sykesville, Maryland,
Emory (Rhonda) Frey of Clearwater, Russ (Cindy) Frey of Hesston; 10
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Floyd Thiessen;
and two sisters, Esther Stucky, Selma Entz.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; six brothers, Herbert Thiessen, Walter Thiessen, Leonhard
Thiessen, Arnold Thiessen, Willard Thiessen, David Thiessen; and two
sisters, Edna Flora and Wilma Stucky.
Memorial Service will be at 11 a.m.,
Monday (December 21, 2015) at Hesston Mennonite Brethren Church with
Pastor Brad Burkholder officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 5
p.m., Sunday (Dec. 20, 2015) with family present from 2 to 4 p.m. at
Miller-Ott Funeral Home, Hesston. Memorials may be made to His
