C. Berniece Goertz
HESSTON -- C. Berniece Goertz, 80,
homemaker, died Thursday (Nov. 13, 2003) in Hesston. She was born
April 12, 1923, to Bernhard and Amelia (Gering) Stucky in rural
Hesston. She married Wilbur E. Goertz Sept. 21, 1947, in rural Inman.
He survives. She had been a Hesston resident for the past 28 years.
Other survivors include: two sons, John W. Goertz of Eden Prairie,
Minn., and Daniel B. Goertz of Los Angeles; two daughters, Bonnie J.
Goertz of Mill Creek, Okla., and Ruth A. Wilson of Platte City, Mo.,
a brother Orlin Stucky; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m.
Sunday at Miller Funeral Home in Hesston with family greeting friends
from 5 to 7 p. m. At Miller Funeral Home in Hesston.
Graveside service will be 9:30 a. m.
Monday at First Mennonite Church of Christian Cemetery in Moundridge.
Memorial service will be 10:30 a. m.
Monday at Alexanderwohl Mennonite Church in rural Goessel with the
Rev. Dunn officiating.
