Willard Kermit Eshelman
Obituary
Willard Kermit Eshelman died Nov. 29,
2015, in Alamo, California.
He was born April 30, 1922, the
youngest son of Alice and Harry Eshelman.
He spent his youth working on the
family owned Maple Leaf Farm raising and showing their prize Perchon
draft horses. After marriage he farmed for 20 years before becoming a
manager for Tradenames in Newton. He transferred with that company to
Salisbury, North Carolina, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the
First Presbyterian Church in Newton and later in Salisbury.
Kermit loved playing golf, boating and
gardening. He was a good son, a loving husband and a great father.
He is survived by three sons, Richard
of Fort Collins, Colorado, Stephen (Ron Spitz) of Alamo, California,
and Dough (Linda) of Sedgwick; and a granddaughter, Natalie Spitz.
He was preceded in death by his wife of
71 years, June. He was also preceded in death by his parents;
siblings Ruby, Harry, Orville and Keith.
June and Kermit will be laid to rest at
a date still to be determined at Hillside Cemetery at Sedgwick.
