Toni Juanita Gough
Toni Juanita Gough, 55, died Jan. 4,
2007, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Toni was born on June 19,
1951, to Wanda Lou (Sturgeon) and Charles Thomas Lewis in Seymour,
Texas. On Dec. 9, 1978, she married James Gough in Seymour. Toni was
a past member and past president of the Circle 8 Square dance club
and was the founder of the Downwinders of Kansas. She also was owner
of Yellowrock Fashions, The Book Nook and her more recent business
was Jimni's Pampered Pets
in Newton.
Toni had a positive, upbeat personality
and was able to turn a gloomy day into a more cheerful one. She will
be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Survivors include husband of Newton;
daughter, Deidra (Hollers-Gough) Carson and husband Casey of Wichita;
daughter Dana (Hollers-Gough) Geuther and husband Robby of Hesston;
grandchildren, Lisa and Thomas Dame, Darin Geuther, Makayla Dahl;
daughter, Sandy Gough and companion Ryan Beck or Newton;
grandchildren, Bailee, Jordan, Austin and Zachary Beck.
She was preceded in death by her
parents; and a brother, Vernon Wade Lewis.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday
at Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9
p.m. Wednesday, with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at
Broadway Colonial Funeral Home in Newton.
Memorials may be sent to the American
Cancer Society's Relay For Life or Caring Hands Humane Society, in
care of the funeral home.
