Vera Anna Holub
HALSTEAD - Vera Anna Holub, 52, died
Tuesday (Jan. 16, 2007) at her residence in Halstead. She was born
Oct. 1, 1954, in Porterville, Calif., to George and Anna Olga
(Wenzel) Vinson Alexandro. Both are deceased. Holub was a homemaker
and caregiver. She married Frank Holub on March 12, 1977, in
Oroville, Wash. He survives. She was a member of Bahai Faith.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Quinn Holub of Austin, Texas,
Zachary Holub of Iowa City, Iowa, and and Chapin Holub of Salina;
brothers Werner Vinson of Fallon, Nev., and Tima Alexandro of
Petaluma, Calif.; and sister, Elizabeth Alexandro of Berkley, Calif.
Graveside service was at 10 a.m. today
at St. John's Cemetery in Pilsen. A memorial service will be from 2
to 4 p.m. Saturday at Dyck Arboretum of the Plains in Hesston.
Memorials may be sent to Victory in the
Valley or Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, both in care of Kaufman
Funeral Home in Halstead.
