Conrad Carl Unruh
MOUNDRIDGE - Conrad Carl Unruh, 92,
Moundridge, died Saturday (Jan. 27, 2007) at Mercy Hospital in
Moundridge. He was born Sept. 1, 1914, in McPherson County to Abraham
H. Unruh and Elizabeth Wenger. He was a resident in Moundridge for
six years moving from Wallace County. He was a farmer and a member of
the Gospel Church of God in Christ, Mennonite Church in Moundridge.
On July 25, 1936, he married Phoebe R. Letherman in Newton. She
survives. He also is survived
by sons, Leonard M. Unruh of Sharon
Springs, Mark Unruh of Surprise, Ariz.; two daughters, Elaine
Leatherman of Moundrige and Margaret Schmidt of Sharon Springs; three
brothers, Clifford Unruh of Sharon Springs; Chester Unruh of
Moundridge and Russell Unruh of Olathe, Colo.; sister Martha Decker
of Fredonia; 19 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and four
great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five
brothers, Harvey Unruh, Harry Unruh, Homer Unruh, Oliver Unruh and
Kenneth Koehn; three sisters, Twila Unruh, Susanna Koehn and Hazel
Koehn; and an infant daughter.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m.
Wednesday at Gospel Church of God in Christ, Mennonite Church with
Ministers Doyle Johnson and Ervin Williams officiating.
Visitation will be 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday
with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Moundridge Funeral Home.

Church of God in Christ Mennonite Church in care of the funeral home.
