Ethel June Becker
MOUNDRIDGE - Ethel June Becker, 88,
homemaker and missionary, died Monday (Nov. 21, 2005) at Mercy
Hospital in Moundridge. She was born Feb. 17, 1917, to Noah and Ida
(Holdeman) Wiggers in McPherson County. She married Laurence F.
Becker Feb. 18, 1940, in Hesston. He survives. She was a lifetime
McPherson County resident and a member of Gospel Church of God in
Christ, Mennonite in Moundridge. Other survivors include: a son,
Roger G. Unruh of Galva; a brother, Virgil Wiggers of Moundridge; a
sister, Vera Peters of Louisville, Ga.; seven grandchildren; and 10
great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four
brothers, Ernest, Wayne, Earl and Orville Wiggers; and a sister,
Gladys Schneider.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m.
today with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moundridge
Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m.
Wednesday at Gospel Church of Christ with Ministers Dale Koehn, Dale
Becker and Doyle Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Lone Tree Church
Cemetery in rural Galva.
Memorials have been established with
Wheatland School and Moundridge Manor, both in care of the funeral
home.
