The Rev. Orlo N. Kaufman
The Rev. Orlo N. Kaufman, 86, retired
preacher, died Friday (Nov. 4, 2005) at Memorial Home in Moundridge.
He was born Jan. 8, 1919, to Christian D. and Reina (Wedel) Kaufman
in Harvey County. They preceded him in death. He married Edna Goering
June 20, 1943, in Moundridge. She preceded him in death Feb. 14,
1998. He was a Moundridge resident 21 years, moving from Meridian,
Miss. He was a 1941 Bethel College graduate and was a member of Eden
Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge.
Survivors include: sons, Eugene Kaufman
of Valley Center and Robert Kaufman of Kansas City, Kan.; daughters,
Bonnie Graber of Hardin, Mont., and Frances Griffin of Stillwater,
Okla.; a brother, Tilmar Kaufman of Moundridge; a sister, Glennys
Henry of Bluffton, Ohio; eight grandchildren; and five
great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a
sister, Elva Schrag.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m.
Tuesday with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Moundridge
Funeral Home.
Committal service will be 1 p.m.
Wednesday at Eden Mennonite Church Cemetery followed by a memorial
service at 2 p.m. at Eden Mennonite Church in rural Moundridge with
Pastor Floyd Born and the Rev. Harold Regier officiating.

the Mennonite Disaster Service and Memorial Home, both in care of the
funeral home, 115 E. Cole, Box 410, Moundridge, KS 67107.
