Obituary
Richard C. DeHaven, 73, retired, passed
away Saturday, March 5, 2016, at his home in Bird City.
He was born March 20, 1942, in Sedgwick
to Lawrence W. and Margaret E. DeHaven. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Lawrence and Margaret, as well as four brothers: Keith,
Carl, Larry and Mike.
He is survived by his sister Barbara
Cassil; his former wife Lynda DeHaven; his son Devin DeHaven; his
daughter Hollie (DeHaven) Patterson and her husband Craig Patterson;
his three grandchildren Douglas, Richard and Emily Patterson; and his
best friend and caregiver Carol Markley and her family.
Cremation has taken place. His remains
will be laid to rest at a small graveside service for family and
friends at Hillside Cemetery on Monday, March 21, 2016, at 10 a.m.
