Dorothy Wiebe went to be with the Lord on Friday (Jan. 8, 2016) at Kansas Christian Home in Newton.

She was born August 14, 1930, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Henry and Kate Unruh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Gene Unruh, and sister Kathryn Hiebert.

Survivors include her husband, Wilbert Wiebe, daughters Gail Toevs of Whitewater, Brenda Wuthrich of Whitewater, Deanna Hostetler of Rocky Ford, Colorado, and a son, Brad Wiebe of Whitewater. She had 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 14, 2016) at Emmaus Mennonite Church near Whitewater. Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday (Jan. 13, 2016) at the church. Memorials may be given to Mennonite Central Committee or Emmaus Mennonite Church Missions in care of Lamb Mortuary, Whitewater.
