Nellie F. Miller
Nellie F. Miller, 82, beloved wife of
Chester (Chet) Miller, passed away on Saturday (Jan. 22, 2011) at
Schowalter Villa in Hesston.
She was born on Dec. 17, 1928, in
Inman, the youngest child of John and Ada Showalter Zimmerman.
She lived and raised her family in
Protection for 40 years, then moved to Versailles, Mo., for 18 years
in retirement, finally moving to Hesston where she has lived the last
seven years.
She is a graduate of Hesston Academy
and is a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church.
She married Chester Miller on Sept. 10,
1948, in Inman. They recently celebrated their 62nd wedding
anniversary. He survives.
Loving children of Nellie and Chet
Miller are Rick (Katie) Miller of Versailles, Mo., Wesley (Celeste
Balog) Miller of Wichita and Candy (Rick) Cirricione of Fisher, Ill.;
15 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Gladys
Sprunger of Berne, Ind.
She was preceded in death by two
brothers, Lester and Dale.
The family will receive friends from 6
to 8 p.m. Monday at Schowalter Villa Chapel in Hesston.
Her memorial service will be at 3:30
p.m. Tuesday at Hesston Mennonite Church in Hesston. Pastors John
Murrey and Cheryl Hershberger will officiate.
