Chester Miller
Obituary
Chester "Chet" Dennis Miller,
89, went Home to be with his beloved wife, Nellie, on Friday (Feb 12,
2016) at Schowalter Villa, Hesston. Born in McPherson County, Chet
was the son of Billie D. and Ada F. Yoder Miller. Chet married Nellie
F. Zimmerman on September 9, 1948. They were married for 63 years
before her death in 2011. Chet and his family farmed in Protection,
KS for 40 years, then retired to Missouri, later moving to Hesston to
be with family. He was a member of the Hesston Mennonite Church.
Survivors include two sons, Rick
(Katie), Versailles, MO and Wes (Celeste Balog), Wichita, a daughter,
Candy (Rick) Cirricione, Fisher, Ill, two brothers, B.J. Miller,
Goshen, IN and Galen (Joan) Miller, Sod, WV, two sisters, Alma Kuhns,
Colorado Springs, CO and LaVera Ressler, Goshen, IN, nine
grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30
AM Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at the Hesston Mennonite Church.
